1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Junto mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Junto is operated by CodeHouse Solutions (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. Description of Service

Junto is a mobile application that helps small teams (2-5 people) achieve 90-day goals through:

  • AI-powered daily action planning
  • Team accountability features
  • Progress tracking and gamification
  • Weekly AI insights and coaching
  • Quarterly analysis and goal planning

3. Account Registration

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Junto. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

3.2 Account Information

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly update any changes to your information
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Subscription Plans and Pricing

4.1 Available Plans

Solo Free ($0)

  • 1 user only
  • 1 active cycle (cannot start cycle 2)
  • Manual daily actions (no AI features)
  • Basic streaks and tracking

Team Pro

  • 2-5 team members
  • Unlimited 90-day cycles
  • AI-generated daily actions
  • Full gamification features
  • Weekly AI insights and coaching
  • Quarterly AI analysis

4.2 Pricing

  • Quarterly: $39 per quarter ($13/month equivalent)
  • Annual: $119 per year ($9.92/month equivalent) — Save 24%

4.3 Founding Team Pricing

The first 500 teams to subscribe receive “Founding Team” pricing, which locks in the current rate for the lifetime of their subscription, even if prices increase.

5. The “Show Up or Shut Up” Guarantee

5.1 Guarantee Overview

We offer a conditional money-back guarantee for first-time Team Pro subscribers who meet all eligibility requirements outlined below. This guarantee is subject to the terms and limitations in this Section 5.

5.2 Definitions

  • “First Paid Subscription” means the first time you purchase a Team Pro subscription (quarterly or annual). Renewals, upgrades, or subsequent subscriptions do not qualify as a First Paid Subscription.
  • “Guarantee Period” means the 90 calendar days immediately following the date of your First Paid Subscription purchase.
  • “Daily Actions” means the AI-generated tasks provided by Junto each day during an active 90-day cycle. User-created tasks do not count toward the completion percentage.
  • “Completed Action” means a Daily Action that you have marked as complete within the App by 11:59 PM in your local timezone on the day it was assigned.
  • “Completion Rate” means the percentage of Daily Actions marked as Completed Actions, calculated as: (Total Completed Actions ÷ Total Daily Actions Assigned) × 100.

5.3 Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a refund under this guarantee, ALL of the following must be true:

  1. You are requesting a refund within the Guarantee Period (90 days from your First Paid Subscription purchase date)
  2. You have achieved a Completion Rate of at least 80% during your first 90-day cycle
  3. You have never previously received a refund from Junto under any subscription or account
  4. You submit your refund request via email to support@codehouse.solutions
  5. Your account is in good standing (not suspended or terminated for Terms violations)

5.4 One Refund Per User Policy

Each user is entitled to ONE (1) refund, ever, across all accounts and subscriptions. This is a lifetime limit. If you have previously received a refund from Junto—whether on this account, a different account, or under a different email address—you are permanently ineligible for any future refunds regardless of circumstances. We reserve the right to deny refund requests from users who create multiple accounts to circumvent this policy.

5.5 What We Refund

  • 100% of the subscription payment for the billing period in which you made your First Paid Subscription
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  • Processing time: 5-10 business days (timing depends on your payment provider)

We do NOT refund: subsequent billing periods, renewals, in-app purchases, or any subscription period other than your First Paid Subscription.

5.6 Verification

We will verify your Completion Rate using data recorded in our systems. Our records of Daily Actions assigned and Completed Actions are authoritative. By using the App, you agree that our system records are the sole basis for determining refund eligibility.

5.7 How to Request a Refund

Email support@codehouse.solutions with:

  • Your account email address
  • Date of your First Paid Subscription purchase
  • Confirmation that you meet all eligibility requirements in Section 5.3

We will verify your eligibility and respond within 48 hours. If approved, refunds are processed within 5-10 business days.

5.8 Refund Denial

We reserve the right to deny any refund request that does not meet all eligibility requirements. If your refund request is denied, we will provide the specific reason(s) for denial. Our decision on refund eligibility is final and binding.

6. Billing and Cancellation

6.1 Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a quarterly or annual basis
  • Payments are processed through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
  • All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated

6.2 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

6.3 How to Cancel

  • iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Junto → Cancel
  • Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Junto → Cancel

7. User Conduct

You may NOT:

  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Upload content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes on others' rights
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or exploit the App
  • Create multiple accounts to abuse free trials or promotions

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, AI-generated content, and branding, is owned by CodeHouse Solutions and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you create (goals, actions, messages). By using Junto, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content to provide the Service.

9. Privacy

Your use of Junto is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Disclaimers

Junto is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. While Junto is designed to help you achieve your goals, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. Success depends on your effort, consistency, and circumstances.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

12. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@codehouse.solutions and attempt to resolve the issue informally for at least 30 days.

Any disputes not resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms and sending an email notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
